With over 25 years in the industry, the El Puente farm took out first place in the Honduras Cup of Excellence in 2016 and has placed several times in other years. Marysabel Caballero and her husband Moises Herrera are royalty of the Honduran coffee industry. Marysabel is a third generation coffee producer from the region of Xinaclá, who begun her own journey into production alongside Moises in the 1990s. Together they have invested in land for growing coffee and manage over a dozen farms in the Xinaclá region.
In the cup you’ll find Toffee, Plum and Mandarine, with a medium-medium plus acidity and citric finish.
