KENYA – Kamwangi PB, Washed Process.

Tastes of: Gooseberry Jam, Orange Zest, Panela Toffee

Every year we eagerly await the arrival of the Kenya harvest. This year we’ve selected two superior options that will appeal to the die-hard Kenya coffee fans and those new to the distinct flavour profile that originates from this country.

Grown in the Kirinyaga County, located on the slopes of Mount Kenya with rich red volcanic soil, Ruiru 11,SL 28, Batian cherries are processed at the Kamwangi Coffee Factory. A co-operative run station established in 1983. Cherries are hand sorted before 24-26 hr fermentation, then washed and density graded, subsequently placed on drying beds for a period of 12-20 days depending on the climate.

A generous cup of big fruit flavours, with the body and texture expected of a high quality Kenyan.
