Nestled in the lush highlands of Gomma Woreda, Thair Abamecha’s farm is a testament to the rich heritage of Ethiopian coffee. As a third-generation coffee farmer, Thair has carried forward his family’s legacy since 2004, cultivating his 14-hectare farm with passion and precision. Located in the picturesque Kedemesa Kebele, Haro, at an altitude ranging between 1990 and 2050 meters above sea level, his coffee embodies the exceptional terroir of the region.

A dedicated member of the Tokuma Coffee Farmers, Thair embarked on his coffee export journey in 2024, with a commitment to quality that shines through every step of his processing. Collaborating with Addis Exporter, a trusted partner for marketing, quality control, and logistics, Thair ensures that his coffee reaches you with unparalleled freshness and care.

Thair’s meticulous approach to processing includes both natural and washed methods, each bringing out unique characteristics in the cup.

Handpicked, ripe cherries are sorted on raised drying beds where they undergo a careful drying process that lasts between 18 to 21 days. During this period, the cherries are diligently rotated and monitored to avoid overcrowding and fermentation, ensuring a clean and vibrant flavor profile. The cherries are carefully removed when their moisture content reaches the ideal range of 10.5% to 11%, ready to reveal their full potential.

As a former member of the renowned Duromina Cooperative, his expertise and dedication to quality are evident in every bean.
