Introducing: Rwanda – Inzovu | Red Bourbon – Washed.

We’re excited to share this fresh Rwandan arrival, a clean and expressive washed lot produced by smallholder farmers across Rwanda’s key growing regions.
Rwanda has built a global reputation for precision in washed coffee and this lot is a great example of that clarity and structure. Grown at elevations between 1,400–1,700m, the Red Bourbon trees of the harvested lands are carefully tended to by farmers managing small plots — often fewer than 300 trees, with support from Rwanda Trading Company’s agronomy programs.
Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and delivered to local washing stations, where they’re meticulously sorted and floated before pulping. A controlled dry fermentation follows, helping to break down sugars before washing and drying on raised beds for 10–14 days. The result is a refined and consistent cup that highlights Rwanda’s signature profile.
